Description

The Bardo teachings on the cycle of life, death, and after-death experiences are among the most famous teachings of Tibetan Buddhism. Many people have become aware of Buddhism precisely through these teachings, as they explain the interplay of body and mind and the continuity of conscious experience in a very special way. The Buddhist perspective of spiritual awakening from the cycle of existence is also pointed out clearly by means of the Bardo teachings.

This weekend, Lama Kelzang will provide an essential overview of the Bardo states and the opportunity to find liberation in each Bardo.

The 6 Bardos are:
The Bardo of Existence (Ke Nä)
The Bardo of Painful Dying (Shi Ka)
The Bardo of the Clear Light of Ultimate Reality (Chö Nyi)
The Bardo of Becoming… until Reincarnation (Si Pa)
The Bardo of Dreams (Mi Lam)
The Bardo of Deep Meditation (Ting Nge Dsin)

This course can be taken as a supplement to the Spiritual Care Program with Lama Yesche U. Regel and Miriam Pokora, e.g. to clarify questions about the Bardo teachings that could not be answered in the annual course.
