Our City Groups
In order to provide sangha members and all interested persons with the opportunity of studying and practising Buddhism as close to home as possible, several meditation groups have been established in a number of cities. Each of these has its own individual programme, ranging from weekly meditation sessions to study groups and weekend seminars. Supporting Kamalashila Institute!
Dear friends of the Kamalashila Institute, Dear supporting members, Dear Sangha, The Kamalashila Institute, also known as the Eifel Monastery, conducts courses for about 170 days each year. It is under the patronage of the 17th Karmapa. We offer 50 overnight accommodations in the house. For visiting Lamas and Rinpoches, we have a separate apartment ready. Two Lamas reside in the house. In addition to numerous courses, they offer discussions and support for studies and retreats. Participants in the courses can purchase Buddhist literature and ritual items in the in-house bookstore.
