Description
The invocation of the liberatress, the female aspect of the Buddha, requesting for protection from all fears and dangers

During these days, the resident lamas of the Karma Kagyu Community Germany e.V., coming from Tibet, Nepal and Bhutan, are gathering to do a Drubchen together, an intensive practice time, with meditation on the Green Tara and the Mandala of the 21 Taras.

Lama Kelzang and Lama Sönam in particular will also explain the practice and show how to perform the Green Tara ritual with Mudras (hand gestures) and chant the melodies.

There are 4 Thün, i.e. sessions, daily, 3x as puja and 1x in silence without text but with a visualization instruction like for the Shamatha meditation of Calm Abiding.

All can join the Green Tara Drubchen, both on site in the large shrine room of Kamalashila Institute, directly in front of the beautiful altar containing 21 Taras statues, or online from home.

The Green Tara Mandala Ritual is performed several times a day during these days, with a special emphasis on offerings to the Green Tara, the repetition of the praises of the 21 Taras and the mantra recitation of OM TARE TUTTARE TURE SOHA.

This creates an intensity through which the special blessing power of the “Liberator”, as Tara is also called as a translation of her Tibetan name “Drölma”, can unfold. This blessing can be transferred to all those present and practicing together, and it can also be passed on with the power of wishes and dedications.

Each participant can also bring individual or general wishes into the practice during the Green Tara Drubchen.

Green Tara protects, so it is said in all commentaries and legends, from inner and outer dangers. These are, on the one hand, one’s own emotions, especially the 16 types of fear or anxiety, but also concrete adversities caused by the elements, i.e. earth (quakes etc.), water (floods etc. ), fire (disasters etc.), wind (storms etc.).

It is said that Tara tries to alleviate and overcome all conflicts, wars, struggles, hardships, and misery in the world with her universal and impartial compassion.

In this respect, an intensive week of practice on the Green Tara seems timely and urgent in the face of the many conflicts and dangers that humans, animals, and the environment of planet Earth are currently facing.

Tara Drubchen takes place as a face-to-face event. There will not be an online live stream event.

Note on the introductory & sponsor prices:
We are trying to find a compromise between solidarity on the one hand and financial survival on the other. We know that you are exposed to many costs and that not every “high” income is high at second glance. On the other hand, we also have increased costs and have to see how we can cover all the costs of a seminar.

If you can pay less than the normal lower fee, please contact us!
We always try to find a solution.
